We are delighted to introduce you to the two newest Trustees to join the Non-Executive Board of Work Avenue.
Alex Bard and Shraga Zaltzman MBE bring with them a wealth of experience and expertise.
Alex has worked in the commercial property sector for more than 20 years and is the founder of London-based family run property company The Max Barney Estate.
He also founded Containerville – one of the brands operated by the company – upcycling shipping containers into workspaces for a diverse network of 200 small businesses, professionals and entrepreneurs.
Shraga joined The Max Barney Estate in 2017 and runs its philanthropic arm, which supports charitable initiatives around the world focused primarily on employment. A former CEO of Work Avenue, he has also led the development and expansion of Containerville.
As Trustees, Alex and Shraga will provide input into strategic discussions and direction, help with fundraising, ensure legal compliance and oversee that we are delivering positive outcomes for our clients.
Shraga said: “Work Avenue has been a cause close to our hearts for a long time and Alex and I are delighted have the privilege of joining the board.
“Enabling people to earn a living with dignity and pride is a fundamental part of every community. The services Work Avenue provides to help people find jobs, change careers and start and grow businesses achieve exactly that.”
