As 2025 begins, research has shown that more than 1 in 10 people are currently looking for work.
The survey by Totaljobs found that 11% of respondents are actively seeking roles this month – up from 8% this time two years ago – with a third of people expressing a desire to change jobs at one point in 2025.
If this sounds like you… then we are here to help!
At Work Avenue, we know that January is a time for fresh starts – whether you’re seeking a new job, returning to the workplace or pursuing a career change.
That’s why our FREE New Year, New Career event on Wednesday 22 January 2025, is designed to help you reboot, re-skill, and re-energise.
Featuring inspirational speakers and hands-on support from the Work Avenue team, you’ll build your job searching skills, discover live vacancies and boost your confidence for interviews.
You’ll learn what employers look for in a candidate – directly from the employers and recruiters themselves – and get to meet and network with like-minded people over a buffet lunch.
Work Avenue CEO Debbie Lebrett said: “Our New Year, New Career event is the chance to get inspired, gain insider tips from top employers, and unlock expert advice to supercharge your job search.
“Whether starting fresh or seeking new direction, you will leave feeling energised and ready to take charge of your future.”
Held at Patron Capital (33 Glasshouse Street, London, W1B 5RT), the event is easily accessible on public transport and close to both Piccadilly and Green Park underground stations.
