Debbie Lebrett
A qualified headteacher with an MA in English Literature, Debbie has worked in both the private and state education sectors for three decades. She has experience in strategic planning, project management and leading large teams of people. Debbie leads, manages, and develops the overall strategy and delivery of Work Avenue services.
As CEO what do you do at Work Avenue? I lead and manage the amazing Work Avenue team to ensure that we continue to help people to earn a living with dignity, whether through finding employment or assisting businesses.
Favourite hobbies? Watching documentaries about historical events
Where’s your favourite place in the world? It has to be Israel, where my grandchildren live!

Jo Diamond
Jo graduated from Leeds University with a BA Honours in Politics and has over 15 years experience in marketing and fundraising. Jo has worked at Europe’s largest broadcasting network and one of the UK’s biggest Jewish charities. Her experience and diverse skills from both the charity and commercial sectors brings a fresh approach as she heads up the Marketing division at Work Avenue.
As Head of Marketing, what do you do at Work Avenue? I ensure all Work Avenue’s comms are as clear as possible, so the community know exactly how we can help them earn a living. I am lucky that I get to work closely with the entire team, ensuring that all events and services are communicated to the correct audience.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? I love playing tennis and spending time with my family & friends
Where’s your favourite place in the world? It would have to be either Cape Town or Israel…both in very different ways!
Interesting fact about you? When I was 12 I had surgery for scoliosis and as a result have 2 metal rods and a few screws in my back

Talia Maman
Talia is Work Avenue’s receptionist and is responsible for meeting and greeting all Work Avenue clients. With her friendly personality and positive attitude, she makes sure all clients and other visitors feel welcome and have everything they need when they are in the office. Talia’s previous experience in a reception role in a professional services firm ensures that she has all the skills and attributes necessary for a busy front office here.

Shoshana Cohen
Shoshana is WE Hub’s Building Manager and the first point of contact for members and visitors. As an effective communicator and problem solver she provides solutions for WE Hub business users. Having worked within the charity sector in similar roles, Shoshana brings with her a wealth of knowledge and creativity.
Favourite hobbies? Building IKEA furniture and anything sports related really

Who would you most like to swap places with for a day? Talia Herman who sits next to me so I can see what I’m really like
Interesting fact about you? I ran in the Jerusalem Marathon twice

Michelle works as our Building Manager. She is the first point of contact for all our members, providing tours of our outstanding facility, managing member services and ensuring the building is safe and welcoming for everyone who works here.

Favourite hobbies? My favourite hobby is cooking, there’s something so relaxing about it and I get to enjoy a great meal at the end.

As a Digital Marketing Executive, what do you do at Work Avenue? I look after digital marketing, managing social media, creating fun TikToks and supporting the development of the website.
Where’s your favourite place in the world? Israel will forever be a special place for me but my favourite destination I’ve travelled to was Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Favourite hobbies? I enjoy dance classes and love attending concerts, the theatre and the ballet whenever I can.
Interesting fact about you? I have managed to see my top three Spotify artists live in concert within the past year.

Eli Samet
Eli is the Building Manager of the Manchester We Hub. With a background in project management, he ensures the smooth day-to-day running of the shared workspace. Eli enjoys helping facilitate business growth within the community, and his role allows him to do just that. His focus is on making sure the workspace runs efficiently, creating an environment where members can thrive and enjoy their work.
Favourite hobby? I love all things music and used to perform at events as a keyboard / piano player, which was always an exciting experience.
Interesting fact about you? I’ve managed a wilderness camp for youth in Pennsylvania twice in the summer holidays, which was a memorable adventure.
