Minister ‘Impressed’ by Range of Work Avenue Support

This week Work Avenue welcomed Andrew Western MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transformation at the Department for Work and Pensions, to our offices and Wohl Enterprise Hub.

During his visit, Andrew Western toured the WE Hub, meeting with our team and clients to see first-hand the business and employment support that Work Avenue provides.

He said: “I was very impressed by what I saw at Work Avenue, in particularly its support to help people re-enter the workforce.

“There was a real feeling of confidence and community among the people and businesses based in its vibrant shared workspaces and the breadth of opportunities available, from the Freelance Agency and career‑reboot programmes to short skills courses and executive‑level guidance, demonstrates genuine commitment to keeping the door open to everyone.”

The MP met with a range of Work Avenue clients, including individuals receiving guidance on CV writing, interview skills, career development and business growth.

Work Avenue CEO Debbie Lebrett said: “Andrew Western’s visit was a fantastic opportunity for us to show Government the practical, hands-on support we offer every day to help people find jobs, build careers and grow businesses.”
