About the company

A dynamic, growing non-bank lender providing bridging loans and development finance across England & Wales.

Role overview

Join a fast-paced team to help drive underwriting excellence. Exposure across the business with opportunities to grow.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess bridging loan applications from initial enquiry through to completion (reviewing financials, credit histories, valuations, legal documents)
  • Assess risk (creditworthiness, LTV, property values) and make funding decisions
  • Prepare and present loan recommendations to credit/investment committees
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Collaborate with borrowers, brokers, Originations, and other stakeholders
  • Provide support and guidance to junior underwriters (if and where applicable)

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years in Real Estate experience (bridging or property finance preferred)
  • Strong numeracy, detail orientation, and risk identification
  • Knowledge of Land Registry, RICS valuations, property/contract law
  • Ability to manage high workload, prioritize, and communicate clearly
  • Project-management mindset with a track record of driving efficiency
