Hours: 17.5 hours per week

The Family Support Worker role involves working within the Jewish community to provide targeted support to children and families. The Family Support Worker will focus on supporting the mental health, emotional wellbeing, and educational outcomes of children up to 18 years of age. This role requires expertise in managing the social and emotional challenges faced by children and families and the ability to develop professional partnerships with statutory and community bodies where applicable.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years experience in social work or child related professions.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection protocols.
  • Have own car to carry out work related responsibilities.
  • Degree level qualifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing. Proficiency in IT and standard office software.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
