Simpact are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our small, friendly team on a full or part-time basis. The role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work flexi-hours, based at our office in Stamford Hill

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing a portfolio of companies on Quickbooks, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Management and oversight of the day-to-day financial transactions, both income and expenditure up until balance sheet preparation

· Management of the monthly payroll process

· Complete VAT returns and file VAT returns online

· Assist in preparation of the annual statutory accounting pack and liaison with the external Accountant

· Monitoring the bank accounts and cash flow

· Monitoring all intercompany transactions and reconciling between them

· Any ad hoc projects as and when they arise

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

· At least 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice

· Strong organisational skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills (attention to detail is essential)

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently to meet deadlines

· Advanced knowledge of Quickbooks and MS Office desired

· Intermediate to Advanced Excel desired

· Confident working directly with internal team members and external stakeholders by email, telephone, Zoom and in-person

· Assume personal ownership and accountability for results

· Able to multi-task and manage workload effectively
