Job description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our warm, nurturing team.

We are excited to announce that in September 2026, our team will be moving to brand new premises located right next to Golders Green station. This move marks an important milestone for us and will provide a modern, accessible environment for both staff and children.

We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive environment where every member feels like part of the family. The well-being of our staff is just as important as that of the children in our care, and we are committed to providing a workplace where everyone is valued, supported, and encouraged to grow. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years education and care, supporting children’s learning and development in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Person Specification

Requirements:

  • Ideally, we are looking for staff who are qualified at Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 Diploma, NVQ Level 2/3), but we also welcome applications from non-qualified candidates who are enthusiastic about starting a career in early years. We are committed to supporting non-qualified staff to gain their qualifications while working with us.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Experience working with children aged 0-5 years in an early years setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Enhanced DBS check and references required

Desirable:

  • Paediatric First Aid qualification
  • Experience working with children with additional needs

Additional information

We are a term-time only setting providing childcare for the Orthodox Jewish community. Our opening hours are 8:30 am – 3:45/5:00 pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:30 am – 1:45 pm on Fridays, with an earlier finish during the winter months.
