The Campus Team exists to protect Jewish life and ways of life in higher education. As the Campus Outreach Officer, you will form an integral part of the Campus Team alongside the Campus Team Manager and security-focussed Campus Officers. You will specialise in understanding how antisemitism presents in higher education, and the threats it poses to Jewish students and staff on campus.
You will work proactively to develop the Community Organisation's understanding of campus antisemitism, identifying concerns and trends that warrant further attention. You will do this through:
• Working closely with Jewish students and staff, to learn about their experiences of antisemitism on campus
• Collaborating with community partners who work in the campus space
• Conducting your own research and analysis.
You will also be the first port of call for Jewish students and staff who experience an antisemitic incident, overseeing the full process from triage, to first-class victim support, to incident response.
