• Advise diplomats and senior staff on digital trends, platform policies, best practice and reputational considerations

• Monitor domestic and international news, media trends and online discourse relevant to Israel–UK relations

• Contribute to crisis communications, reputational management and rapid response content when required

• Work closely with press, policy and cultural teams to ensure alignment of messaging

• Undertake administrative and coordination tasks as part of the Media Department’s daily operations

This job description is not exhaustive, and the post-holder may be required to undertake additional duties consistent with the requirements of the Embassy.

Person Specification

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Communications, Media, Public Relations, Digital Marketing or similar)

• Minimum two years’ professional experience in social media, communications or digital media

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent English required; Hebrew an advantage)

• Demonstrated experience developing and executing digital media strategies

• Strong video and image editing, content creation and storytelling skills

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Sound understanding of reputational management and online risk mitigation

• Exceptional interpersonal, stakeholder management and teamwork skills

• Proactive, creative and able to initiate and deliver original projects

• Good knowledge of Israeli politics and society

• UK citizenship required (dual Israeli–UK citizenship is not permitted for this role)
