Care Assistant (Domiciliary Care, Live-In Care, or Night Shifts)

About the Role:

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team, providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. Whether you are assisting with daily activities, offering overnight care, or providing live-in support, you will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Supporting with meal preparation and feeding where required
  • Administering medication in line with care plans
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Helping with light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and tidying
  • Assisting with mobility and using mobility aids as needed
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential – full training is provided
  • A kind, patient, and compassionate nature
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, nights, or weekends
  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (for domiciliary care roles) is beneficial but not required
