10th January – Making It Happen: Achieving your job searching Goals
It’s time to take control with our tried and tested steps to landing a job. Learn how to manage your mindset and get down to your job search fast.
Identify your top skills and be ready to articulate them to employers and create an action plan with achievable goals
15th January – Feeling Confident in your Job Search
This session will cover a range of people skills, social skills and communication skills all of which are vital in helping you appear positive and upbeat when looking to secure a new role. You will learn effective strategies to present the best version of yourself and understand the importance of body language and mindset as tools to land your next role
18th January – CV and cover letter workshop
Get your job search off to a great start by creating a contemporary and elegant CV and learning how to market yourself effectively with it, including the use of AI as an effective tool for CVs and cover letters.
24th January: Coffee, Cake & Career: New for 2024
Come and meet our employment team to find out more about the vacancies on Work Avenue’s jobs board, and fast track your application for suitable positions.
29th January: Choosing your perfect career
Discover the right career path for you at this interactive and engaging workshop. By carrying out exploratory exercises, group discussions and looking at case studies we’ll help you create an action plan that will guide you towards fulfilling your career aspirations.
