Logistics Administrator (maternity cover) – Global Group

Salary & Benefits package: c. 35K depending on experience to include travel allowance

Contract: Maternity cover with very strong probability for successful candidate to transition into a permanent role within the business.

Since 2006, Global Group has been providing comprehensive solutions to the food and consumables industry. Global Group is the UK’s leading Importer and Distributor of Kosher & Halal temperature-controlled food products and consumables for the retail / food service industry. 

We are now looking to recruit a Logistics Administrator (maternity cover) to join our dedicated team on a one-year contract. (The business is growing and there is great potential for the successful candidate to transition into a permanent position). 

The main responsibilities of the role include:

• General administration to facilitate the smooth running of business operations 

• Dealing with logistics of shipments, orders and deliveries

• Liaising with suppliers, vendors and other stakeholders

We are looking for a candidate who is:

• Highly organised with previous administrative experience. Logistics experience advantageous. 

• Tech savvy with strong IT skills

• An excellent communicator

• Able to perform well in a fast paced environment
