The Independent Jewish Day School is a one-form entry Academy, situated in Hendon. Our Limmudei Kodesh is taught in Ivrit as we follow an Ivrit b’Ivrit programme throughout the school.

We are a modern Orthodox school whose values and ethos embody a love of Torah, Mitzvot and Medinat Yisrael.

Due to upcoming Aliyah of our current postholder, we are looking to appoint a Head of Kodesh to begin June 2024.

The successful candidate will :

• Be able to embrace and promote our school’s ethos of teaching Kodesh b’Ivrit, a love of Torah, Mitzvot and Medinat Yisrael, both in the classroom and through our extensive extra curricular programme

• Encourage all children to achieve their best and flourish emotionally, spiritually, academically and socially.

• Lead the Kodesh team with enthusiasm, ensuring our dedicated staff continue to grow, develop and thrive

• Have QTS or the equivalent qualifications
