Head of Accounts – Property Management Company

Job Description:

An established property management and serviced office company are looking for a Head of Accounts to oversee and manage the entire accounting function for the firm, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting. As well as:

• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing regular reports and analysis to senior management.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax filing.

• Evaluate and implement accounting systems and software to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Monitor and manage financial risks, ensuring appropriate risk mitigation strategies are in place.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate governance standards.


Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum of 5 years' of accounting experience

• Extensive experience in property management and/or serviced office industry is highly desirable

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws

• Proficiency in Qube software and Microsoft Office Suite
