Qualification: Minimum of a member of a CCAB Accountancy body, CIMA or equivalent

Experience: Minimum of 2 – 5 years as a Financial Accountant or equivalent and 3 years management experience.

AIHA is a continually growing organisation that provides homes for people in housing need in the Orthodox Jewish community.

A management vacancy has arisen within our finance team. We are seeking an experienced accountant with wide ranging responsibilities, including:

· Implements and monitors compliance to financial policies, procedures and frameworks to manage and maintain compliance across the business

· Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures

· Managing the team who process transactions and the treasury function

· Producing management accounts and financial reports

· Preparing VAT returns and ensure tax compliance

· Supporting preparation of service charges and rent increases

· Supporting the annual audit and preparation of statutory accounts

We are looking for a skilled finance professional, who is a good problem solver and team player, comfortable with different IT applications.
