Event Manager – Manna UK

Do you have a passion for creating impactful events and a heart for social justice?

Manna, the UK branch of the Israeli charity Meir Panim, is seeking a driven and creative Event Manager to join our team. We're on a mission to confront food insecurity in Israel, providing free meals with dignity and a range of support services to break the cycle of poverty.

In this key role, you'll play a pivotal role in:

  • Developing a strategic event portfolio: Craft engaging events to cultivate major donors, raise awareness within the Jewish community, and generate vital funds for our cause.
  • Event Management: Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for attendees.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Create and implement marketing campaigns to promote Manna and its events through various channels.
  • Donor Relations: Partner with the fundraising team to cultivate relationships with major donors and identify new supporters within the Jewish community.

About You:

  • 3-5 years of experience in event planning and management, preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful fundraising events.
  • Strong understanding of event budgets and financial management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for Manna's mission and a commitment to social justice.
  • Experience working with the Jewish community (desirable).

Occasional weekend and evening work with TOIL available.
