HP Insurance are recruiting a full-time dynamic Business Development Manager to drive strategic sales opportunities in London. 

The successful candidate will drive the sales efforts to help scale the business in London. They will identify and build an active pipeline, developing and targeting new market opportunities. The job can be worked remotely in London. Training will be provided where necessary.

Overview:

• Prospecting and Lead Generation (50%)

• Business Development and Relationship Building (50%)

Responsibilities:

• Identify prospects in the London market, including cold calling, industry research, and networking.

• Proactively build relationships with potential clients by attending local networking events, conferences, and industry meetups in London.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective client companies.

• Understand client needs and challenges to propose customised insurance solutions that address their specific requirements.

• Deliver compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of HP Insurance.

• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan specifically tailored to the London market.

• Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for lead generation, sales pipeline, and closed deals.

• Identify new business opportunities and market trends in London to contribute to the overall growth of HP Insurance.

• Provide regular reports to management on sales activities, pipeline progress, and achievements.

Person specification:

• Experience managing client relationships is a plus

• Strong people skills with the ability to build key relationships

• Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Good eye for detail and accuracy

• Demonstrable growth in HP's client base from Business Development Team
