  • Sector: Media

Jew Talkin' To Me? is a chat show podcast featuring 2 guests from the worlds of arts, entertainment and media, chatting to award winning comedians Philip Simon and Rachel Creeger about their lives, experiences growing up and how much Jewishness has played a part. We finished a 10 episode series a few weeks ago, and we are launching our second series on 16th October with a third planned for the spring. Our guests are very established in their areas of the industry, and some are extremely well known.

Due to the success of the show, we are now looking for an intern to get involved with the management and planning of the show. The role is varied and will include researching guests, running our social media, contacting agents and managers regarding dates for their clients and similar tasks. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain hands on experience in the media or entertainment industry as part of an exciting Start-Up with a large and growing following.

We are looking for someone with the following skills:

• TEAMWORK We want you to be a part of our team, to contribute to it and grow along with it.

• INITIATIVE We will need required tasks to be completed but we want someone who also feels confident in suggesting improvements and their own ideas.

• FLEXIBILITY We all need to chip in with whatever needs doing within our skill set, have a willingness to learn new skills and good time management.

• INTEGRITY You will have access to passwords, our public profile and sensitive data such as celebrity contact details, so maintaining confidentiality is essential.

• SOCIAL MEDIA Experience in managing social media accounts including, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, knowledge of scheduling platforms such as Hootsuite.

• RESEARCH Creating and updating databases of contacts, guests (potential and booked), and organisations we should be in touch with.
