The Jewish Museum London is for people of all backgrounds to explore British Jewish heritage, identity and culture. Set against a spacious and modern architectural backdrop with displays across 4 galleries, the Jewish Museum London brings the story of Jews in Britain to life, all framed in the context of wider British history.
In March, the Jewish Museum London pivoted all of its programming online with the launch of our Virtual Classroom workshops for schools and our weekly live streamed Object Talks, Tours, Family Videos and Quizzes. Much of our collection has been accessible online with the recent addition of the Jewish Military Museum collection and the Your Legacy & Me online exhibition. Since lock-down, we have reached engagement numbers of over 35,000 across our website, tours, events and live streamed activities on our social media pages and are committed to continue to connect with our audiences in this way.
The museum has recently welcomed a new Chair, Nick Viner, and Interim Director, Frances Jeens.
