Video & Multimedia Editor- CST

As a Video & Multimedia Editor, your main focus will be to create video and design content for both the Communications Department and the SAFE (Security Advice For Everyone) project. The SAFE team is
responsible for delivering security briefings and advice to leaders of other faith communities, throughout the UK, targeted by hate crime and discrimination. Their requirements from a Video & Multimedia Editor is for the
individual to create educational videos and to build up brand materials for the team to use when doing their outreach work.

We are looking for a person with at least 2 years’ experience. You will work closely with the Brand & Marketing Manager to design content for both the SAFE project and Communications Department.

Duties include:
• Working with internal clients to seek creative solutions and build media campaigns
• Study design brief and determine requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop brand design, logos and other marketing material
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and reflects the brand guidelines
• Liaising with external proof-readers and printers
• Managing the distribution of videos, reports, newsletters and posters
• Involvement in ad-hoc project work

The ideal candidate should have:
• At least 2 years’ experience in a related field in order to fulfil this role to the required standard
• Excellent knowledge of editing and exporting software (Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop)
• Demonstrable understanding of what makes good content
• Experience producing online videos and be able to create an engaging story from initial brainstorming through to publishing
• Ability to work on tight budgets
• Calm under pressure, with the ability to think on your feet
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud suite (InDesign and Illustrator)
• Good understanding of print processes
• Desirable – an understanding of website content management systems
