Fundraiser/Administrator- Jerusalem College of Technology

Jerusalem College of Technology UK is seeking a part-time Fundraiser/ Administrator to help raise funds for one of Israel’s most important academic institutions. The college's mission is to produce highly skilled professionals for Israel’s rapidly developing industries who possess a strong commitment to Jewish values, the Jewish people, and the State of Israel. You will be working alongside Trustees and the Director of External Affairs in Israel but this is a standalone position managing the UK office so will also include some administrative and marketing aspects. 

We seek a candidate who is a self-starter with confidence and initiative to develop ties with donors, foundations and other potential supporters to enlarge the donor base in the United Kingdom. The candidate must have excellent communication and organisational skills and will work closely with the Board and the Director of Development at the college in Jerusalem. 

At this stage, the position is envisaged to be half-time (20 hours per week), with the intention to grow with the charity in the coming years.

Responsibilities:
•    carry out marketing and public relations activities to raise the profile of the organisation's services and campaigns
•    design fundraising materials such as leaflets and flyers
•    create and organise fundraising initiatives and events
•    approach potential donors and maintain donor lists
•    liaise with trustees and develop volunteer board
•    carry out administrative tasks, such as applying for grants and other sources of funding, managing budgets, gathering data, preparing reports, database management and clerical work to meet the charity's needs.
