Role Overview:

Responsible for co-managing World ORT’s MarCom strategy along with the Head of External Affairs, you will oversee managing the marketing initiatives both in the UK and internationally. You will generate strategies that grow the reputation of the ORT brand, improve donor experience and drive growth. Develop, implement and track our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels always striving to optimise it. Overseeing the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns and where necessary, reporting to the senior management team on any marketing updates. 

You should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution. Be on time and on budget but most importantly to demonstrate a passion for the marketing industry. 

Main Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy 
To manage: 
  • all marketing as well as an overall strategy to promote World ORT brand via all channels 
  • and implement the existing marketing strategy and provide marketing support to fundraising countries 
  • liaise with the Chief Relationship Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Director General on key targets and KPI’s to drive World ORT awareness amongst all stakeholder groups: alumni; governments; NGO’s; donors and lay supporters 
  • the international content and campaign calendar 
  • the paid social and search engine advertising (get Google AdWords Charity monthly grant) for online fundraising strategy 
  • the emailing campaign strategies 
  • and collaborate with internal teams to ensure that the ORT MarCom strategy is effectively communicated to all stakeholders 
  • and deliver on defined marketing KPI’s 
  • the virtual newsroom along with the Head of External Affairs and the sourcing of content 
  • the development of the website, update content and analyse performance of campaigns via Google Analytics 
  • and approve the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, films, and other marketing-related projects 
  • along with the Chief Relationship Officer the plan and delivery of the annual marketing budget and to develop cost-effective marketing plans 
Brand Management 
To manage: 
  • the ORT brand’s integrity ensuring its consistent ‘umbrella’ presence across all World ORT operations and across all channels 
  • and ensure brand consistency is delivered across all channels of the ORT Network 
  • and translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies 
Ongoing Projects 
  • To create a community and a sense of belonging within our student and alumni body (ORT students Ambassadors, Global Alumni Network) 
  • To strengthen and maintain our relationships with major donors and other target audiences through donor engagement and acquisition campaigns 
  • Increase attendance at BoT’s, BoR’s and Missions though compelling marketing campaigns 
  • To plan and implement creative and compelling online fundraising campaigns 
  • Manage the creation of material to support ORT fundraisers and developers (brochures, videos, merchandise) 
  • Create and manage a library of marketing media (ORT photos, videos and testimonies) 
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence across all the major platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest 

Hours of Work: 
Office hours are 09:00 – 17:30 Monday to Thursday and 09:00 – 14:00 on Fridays. 
This role may involve working out of hours and occasional international travel.
