Matrix Accreditation

7th January 2019

We are thrilled to have achieved the national Matrix Standard accreditation.

The Matrix Standard is a unique quality standard for organisations to assess and measure their advice and support services, which ultimately supports individuals in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals.

As well as endorsing the qualifications and processes by which employment and business advisers deliver information, advice and guidance to clients, very importantly, Matrix accreditation enables Work Avenue to offer personal career guidance in schools to a standard endorsed and approved by the Government’s Gatsby Benchmarks.

Said Debbie Sheldon, Work Avenue’s CEO, “We are delighted that the quality of Work Avenue’s professional employment and business service deliverers has been recognised by this prestigious national standard.  But also, achievement of the Matrix standard means we can now provide a much more meaningful careers support to our schools to support their curriculum in this field.”

David Meyer, Executive Director of PaJeS, the partnership for Jewish Education across all Jewish schools, welcomed Work Avenue’s accreditation, saying: “This is a very important and exciting development for our schools.  We know there is a demand for knowledgeable and culturally supportive careers advice and we are so pleased that Work Avenue are now in a position to provide that, raising the standard all round.”
