Refuah Medical Centre (“RMC”) is a brand new private outpatient medical centre built over two floors of the Brenner Centre in Stamford Hill. The purpose of the centre is to provide a local urgent care and minor ailments facility for the local community. There is a burgeoning demand for high quality, purpose-built, medical care facilities in the area with an acute shortage of GP coverage and urgent care provision by the NHS. RMC intends to fill the gap in the market and provide an all-in-one facility.

The Practice consists of four consulting rooms including an ultra-sound facility; a private minor injuries unit (MIU) staffed by a doctor and nursing staff. The unit consists of four consulting rooms, a plaster room and an Xray unit.

We’re looking for someone who has the drive, skills and experience to join our team and who together will establish this centre as a successful innovative private practice.

Responsibilities:

– Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the medical facility

– Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member

– Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar

– Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments

– Maintain patient records and update information as needed

– Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry

– Ensure a clean and organized reception area

Experience:

– Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred

– Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is a plus

– Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment

– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

– GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

– Medical Receptionist: 2 years (required)

Applications will be screened and short-listed for 1stround interview with the hiring panel

Successful candidates will have a 2nd round interview with a panel consisting of the Senior Partners.
