£60,000-£80,000 depending on experience

Our senior team is composed of professionals with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of supported housing, care commissioning, large-scale asset management, social housing, and change management. We offer comprehensive advisory services to partners and investors and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality housing units to communities in need. Our goal is to make a positive impact in the communities we serve and provide our clients with strategic advice and guidance to navigate the complex world of social and affordable housing.

We are now looking for a Head of Finance to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the financial operations of the business
  • Work with senior management to develop and deliver the business' financial strategy
  • Overseeing rental income
  • Approval of expenses and invoices and authorisation of payments
  • Supervision of payroll processes.
  • Managing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements.
  • Monitoring internal cash flow.
  • Management of two bookkeepers within the finance team
  • Collaborate with external finance professionals.

Person Specification

  •  Proven experience in a senior financial role
  • Qualified accountant and/or qualified by experience of at least 5+ years
  • Strong understanding of P&L management.
  • Expertise in payroll and expense management.
  • Knowledge of rental income processes.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with external finance professionals.
  • Proficient in financial authorisation procedures.
  • Ability to manage a small finance team
