Jewish Futures is entering an exciting chapter with great aspirations for the next few years. The organisation is also experiencing exponential expansion across all the organisations and we are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to manage and guide the day to day operations of Jewish Futures and its organisations into this new and exciting era.
This is an important role in a large, Jewish educational charity that functions as a platform for a number of organisations delivering focussed strategies within the Jewish Future’s family. It requires being able to assess, balance and manage the operational needs of individual member organisations and leaders whilst ensuring that the operations of the entire
organisation run efficiently. The role requires outstanding organisational, communication, and leadership skills and an ability to develop innovative solutions that push boundaries.
Management of the entire back-end of the organisation, plus line management of central operational staff, HR & other such departments whilst supporting and providing consultation to the MD are key elements of this role.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
• A deep passion, understanding and love for Judaism and a sense of responsibility for its people
• An ability to multitask and simultaneously manage multiple organisational needs & personnel
• Strong leadership skills and background with minimum 5 years Senior Management level experience
• Proven Operations and People Management skills
• Business, Financial Management and HR are essential in this role
