Bushey Cemetery are looking to appoint additional members of the Chevra Kadisha to work on a casual basis, to ensure the Burial Society continues to provide a first-class service to its members.
To support the delivery of this most important role, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to communicate in a compassionate manner with visitors and mourners and have the ability to deal with all matters relating to burial and tombstone consecrations. Performing the Tahara in accordance with the prescribed and sacred rites with be part of this role, in which training will be given. Additionally, a full UK driving licence is required.
