Administrator- Simclair Finance

  • Location: Stamford Hill with relocation to Finchley in 6-8 weeks

  • Salary: £24,000-£30,000 depending on experience
Simclair Finance is seeking an Administrator with an interest in the financial services sector to join their team. The ideal candidate will have some previous office experience, a good telephone manner and be highly IT literate as the role involves using various software on an ongoing basis.
Training will be provided with good prospects for the right candidate. This position is ideally suitable for someone looking to gain experience and understanding of working in a financial services environment in a medium to long term role. 


Job Description
  • Answer telephone calls, take messages and manage email correspondence
  • Submit mortgage applications on behalf of Adviser to Lender, to include the full compliance procedure as detailed by Compliance Officer 
  • Ensure all relevant client and lender documents filed in correct client files on server including scanning of documents if necessary
  • Ensure lender receives all supporting documents for applications submitted
  • Invoice production and chasing of the outstanding payments
  • Payment reconciliation of all transactions relating to the business bank account
  • Management of daily diary to include meeting and outstanding tasks 
Person Specification
  • Highly computer Literate  with strong knowledge of MS Word,Excel & Outlook
  • Ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time working at a computer - focused, diligent, devoted and loyal
  • Good telephone manner
  • Willing to be trained in relevant sector on a long term basis
