PA to Financial Adviser

Independent Financial Adviser is seeking a PA on either a full time or part time basis to join the business based in London Colney. 

Job Description
  • Maintaining the highest level of service to clients
  • Service to existing client base and to prospective new clients
  • Processing new business
  • Producing illustrations
  • Assistance in the acquisition of new clients
  • In conjunction with financial advisor, preparation, compiling and completing suitability letters, in order to ensure financial advice is suitable for clients, compliant and adheres to regulations.  This will entail non complex suitability letters, any other suitability letters will be outsourced to paraplanner
  • Understanding back office system, namely IBusiness/Swift
  • Completing and maintaining client confidential financial reviews on IBusiness (CFR) records
  • Input client information accurately, including details of existing investments/policy's information
  • Writing to investment providers/pension providers when Letters of Authority are received
  • Attend to action points arising from client meetings
  • Preparation for meetings
  • Attend to /assist in client queries, arising from telephone calls or emails
  • Once information received from investment/pension providers if replacement case, collating information, updating confidential financial review and passing information to paraplanner
  • Transpose information from meeting onto CFR
  • Processing of new business using electronic business submission 
  • Attending to daily general post, emails, scanning, etc
  • Attend to client review meetings, including preparation
  • Uploading documents and activities to IBusiness/Swift

Whilst the aforementioned job description is not an exhaustive list, it does form the majority of the PA role, however, there may be other duties that may have to be performed from time to time. 

Essential Requirements
  • It is essential that the candidate has experience of working for a financial adviser with basic knowledge of pensions and investment products and appropriate solutions.
