Afternoon Administrator- Pardes House Primary School

Pardes House Primary School are seeking an organised and personable candidate to provide administrative support in the afternoons (1.15pm-5.15pm Monday- Thursday). This role will be responsible to the Head Teacher and School Business Manager.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Answering, filtering and redirecting phone calls as appropriate. 
  • Taking messages and relaying them (non-urgent messages through email, urgent messages immediately by mouth) to the appropriate staff member.  
  • Receiving parents and visitors and informing appropriate staff member of their arrival.
  • Ability to use Word/Excel/MS Office.
  • Ability to learn new computing systems for HR and Finance Systems applicable for schools.
  • Liaising with parents and teachers with requests for meetings.
  • Basic First Aid
  • Relaying messages from parents to children. 
  • Assisting children with request for items required by teacher’s e.g photocopying, cups, paper towels etc. 
  • Calling parents of children without lunch, school bag etc.
  • Distributing school newsletter and general letters. 
  • Making weekly phone call reminders to parents of security rota duties. 
  • General filing and paperwork.
  • General support of administration team. 
  • Undertaking of any tasks that may arise, seen and unforeseen at any time within the school day.
