Credit Controller

Growing company is looking for a Credit Controller to manage credit assessments, sales invoicing, as well as carrying out other administrative tasks. 
 
The successful applicant will possess strong critical thinking and decision making skills. Your work will play a major role in maximising revenue and mitigating credit risk.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with our sales and marketing departments to implement an effective credit control system, and should have an understanding of how to negotiate and manage payment plans. 
The role also includes financial reporting, and working with bookkeepers and accountants to ensure regular bank reconciliation and updated accounts. 

Person Specification
  • Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels. 
  • Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel  and knowledge of accounting software Sage 50 accounts Professional
  • Calm, confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
