WORK AVENUE’S BUSINESS AWARDS CELEBRATION EVENING 2018

Following on from the success of the previous Work Avenue Business Awards, this year we will be recognising individuals and businesses who have either benefitted from Work Avenue’s services or have joined with us in helping others. These awards are all about recognising enterprising individuals across the spectrum of their business development. The winners of this year’s awards will be announced at the celebration event in July.

WORK AVENUE START-UP OF THE YEAR

This is awarded to entrepreneurs who have worked tirelessly at getting their business off the ground and with the help of Work Avenue now have a promising future ahead of them.

WORK AVENUE ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR

We’re looking for an exceptional emerging entrepreneur.

This award is to highlight and recognise emerging entrepreneurs who have demonstrated creativity and vision in their business. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial approach who is an innovator, a charismatic personality and someone who is generating excitement in their marketplace. Candidates for this award must be the owner and/or founder of the business.

 

WORK AVENUE MENTOR OF THE YEAR

The Mentor of the Year will be awarded to an individual who has selflessly given of his or her time to mentor a business or individual. This person is recognised for helping and being supportive, providing the mentee with guidance in clarifying their goals and ultimately achieving their objectives.

WORK AVENUE BUSINESS OF THE YEAR

We’re looking for a company that’s moving forward, with good cash flows, a strong market position, growth in products or services and one that has excelled in 2017/18.

The business should have a strong long-term strategy, and be ambitious in its outlook and vision. We’re also looking for a company that’s committed to supporting its local or wider community. Above all we’re looking for a business that may also punch above its weight.
